Orange Is The New Black

There is nothing as sexy like a man coming out of a vintage car wearing an orange tailored blazer, white pants carrying a sleek beige bag and smelling Tom Ford. Well.... that says how much i am loving the color "Orange on men."

Orange has been a color for many this season as it was featured in many runaways for men in 2013 and 2014. We have seen a variety of orange items like bags, blazers, tops, shoes and etc. There are a lot of variety to select from and it is not necessary to all go the way with the color from head to toe. I think the best way to pull off orange is when it is worn as an highlight on the complete outfit, meaning the worst thing you can do is to let it dominate because it tends to be overwhelming.

HOW TO WEAR AN ORANGE BLAZER.
Black, white, dark-blue, dark grey etc goes really well with an orange blazer because gives it the highlight effect to the whole outfit. Blending in orange with colors like brown or beige would make the outfit look dull, boring and washed out. So if you want to do orange make sure that you put it on as an highlight that will stand out on its own.

WHAT TO PAIR WITH AN ORANGE PANT
Well anything can go with an orange pant as long as it is not orange or yellow like seriously, you are not planning on putting on all the LGBT colors on you . Blue and black t shirts could work, blue with white stripes v neck t shirts could do miracles too, white shirt could also do magic. But don't get this formula as it is on your head because it does depend on the shade of orange you will be wearing on the bottom.

For a more official look, dark tone blazers or coats during winter with an appropriate shade of orange pants to create a flowing chemistry on the outfit will do the trick and leave you looking as dapper as you could possibly be.

HOW TO USE ORANGE AS A MINIMAL TEASER.
If you are not a fun of this bright color at all and you wouldn't want it on your shirt, coat, blazer or pants then guess what, you could wear it as a minimal pop of color teaser. How do you pull it off? well imagine you are wearing a bright grey suit like christian Grey on summer, the teaser on your outfit could be bright orange socks or you could wear suede shoes with orange shoe lases or an orange skinny tie inside a dark toned blazer, orange suspenders on a dark toned shirt or on top of a blue and white stripped summer v-neck t shirt, the list is endless.

Orange as a teaser for a person who is not a fun of the color or a person taking baby steps to this old trend that we love to carry on with NO MATTER THE EVER CHANGING FASHION WEATHER... will be the best option. Stop sulking "Orange hater" and give it a try because, "Orange is the new black."

TREND NOTE.
Well this is probably not for everyone but this is a color that looks equally elegant and sophisticated on a black man and a white man as well. The only caution is that it shouldn't be over done, you don't want to be the only slice of orange with a pair of legs on the street, as beautiful as the color is, it is with the right discipline it will suit you, make you stand out and praised for your risk taking venture but if it is done bad, well The fashion Gods will not be so happy.
