This time round, designers went deep into their own perceptions in defining what is the ideal trend for men summer collection. The ideas are different from one designer to the other but the theme, in my opinion is still the same. Colors! Colors! Colors all mixed up together in one outfit. Yes i understand that summer is the season were we want to be be vibrant, colorful and soo Gay(Happy!) but i think when too many colors are worn just because PRADA says so can be a little overwhelming and tacky.

RULE #1: LESS IS MORE.
Summer might feel like rainbows and candies but trust me, you don't want to be the only eye candy we are laughing at on streets. "Less is more" you don't need to walk around advertising how many colors we have on the rainbow or how it feels to have channeled your inner clown. Nooooo....simplicity is what summer is all about because no matter how bright you want to look, remember that in today's fashion, sophistication is a mandatory aspect in one's style.

And who does that better than Hermes?



RULE #2:DON'T THROW YOUR WHITE T-SHIRT.
Has a white T-shirt ever been off trend? NO! that's like Beyonce not being in my most played playlist of 2014. A white T-shirt is legendary and this is not the time to throw it away thinking it's pale and not shocking enough for summer. Hermes and Valentino have used the white T-shirts for their summer 2014collection, they are not stupid, as you already know they are the masters in defining sophistication, style and class all at once. A white t-shirt can also be worn with different colors, actually it can be used to reduce the intensity.


RULE #3: PRINTS ON SHORTS?
Those little floral prints we see on T-shirts during summer have become overwhelming to watch time to time again. This season is all about new arrangement, prints go to bottoms while the top remains clean and fresh. This is the best way to carry spring to summer, with little minimalist details. And if you are going to pick this trend, PLEASE make sure that your shorts are above your well kept knees.



 RULE #4: CARRYING YOUR POP OF COLOR.
I am sorry for those who will disagree with me on this but, "YOUR BAG SHOULD NOT IN ANYWAY MATCH YOUR OUTFIT." This is a crime, its sick and don't lie to yourself that, "Eff off, it's my matching $5000 bag..." we don't care how much it's worth. As long as it matches your outfit it will always look tacky and God knows what else. This season, color play should be with your bags...have fun with your old colorful bags to add style to your summer overall look, step away from overwhelming strict color coordination.We don't do that anymore.


RULE #5:GET READY FOR SINS.
Lana did sing summer time sadness for a reason. A lot happens in summer, we love, wake up on a counter , cry but most importantly, we GET OVER IT. So please don't hold back and have fun with no reservations. So to round up, i made a little dirty list of party drugs! haha not literally, but here are some little drinks you should stock up for summer.
